Kids' Kits

Pirate Pranks (4-6)

Pirates, the nonfiction book from the Magic Tree House Series, provides students with everything they need to know about being a pirate! Students will explore pirates, and delve into their pirate level creativity, making items that will transform them to the days of pirates. Since no pirate is complete without a pirate hat and eye patch, students start their pirate study making these items. That is just the beginning of the fun. Students will design their own pirate flag, choosing their personal pirate symbol. They will write their own, “Pirates’ Code of Conduct.” and create a secret language to have others try to figure out their hidden message. Also, no pirate adventure is complete without a treasure hunt. The “gold doubloons” that come with the kit can be hidden in the area for students to locate.
